Four port high speed unit (HSU) for 64Kbps data applications with IEEE C37.94 optical interface. Uses fiber optic connectors (BFOC/2.5) and can operate at a distance of up to 2 km (1.24 miles). The data rate on the optical media is 2.048MHz, and framed as an E1 without signaling. Due to the data structure defined by PC37.94, each port contains a maximum of 12 time slots of data. Requires Host Code 7.2.0 or higher. Operates at 1310nm on multi-mode fiber.
