Two wire interface, supporting signaling modes Foreign Exchange Station (connects to 2-way PBX trunk or key system), Foreign Exchange Software Defined Network (emulates E&M connection to class 4 switches), DPT (1-way incoming trunks from PBX, key system or telephone) and MRD (point-to-point unswitched). Signal settings include variety of loop start and ground start options plus R2. Use with 600-Ohm termination facilities. May be used with 887160 or 887170 ADPCM and 831060 LBRV compression cards. This model improves Ground Start mode when used with Host Code v5.1.4 (or higher 5.1.x) only. For loop start lines it can be used with all Host Codes.
