Main power supply for AC powered IMACS units. 120/240VAC, 50-60Hz input provides +/-5V and +/-12V. Can be used with 8905 Power Converter to provide -48VDC from either 120VAC or 240VAC. A second 8901 may be installed for load sharing/redundancy.

Main power supply for use with external -48VDC sources. Provides +/-5V and +/-12V. Includes low input voltage alarm at -42VDC or less. A second 890220 may be installed for load sharing/redundancy.

This host code must be ordered, in addition to CPU host version firmware, if required to provide Subscription Loop Carrier (SLC96) facilities as outlined in Bellcore TR-TSY-000008 based signaling for Centrex or similar services. Requires Host v3.4.y or greater on CPU.

The latest software release for the new IMACS CPU. This release supports all features of the IMACS system previously supported, including the Bridge, OC3-PT2PT and introduces the PWE card. System switches of the processor incur less then a 250 mSec hit on credited services.

135 Watt supplies require a 2Amp draw on the 5V rail in order to properly regulate. The load board provides power draw for customers who anticipate upgrading to more power-intensive cards, but are initially purchasing equipment that does not actually require the 135 Watt supply.

Universal slots can support up to 3 server cards and up to 4 WAN cards. All universal slots not allocated to servers or WANs can be used for user cards. Accommodates 1 main power and 1 redundant main or 1 main power and 1 AC/DC converter and 1 ring generator. AC and dual DC inputs. NEBS compliant.
