Maximum obtainable bridge count is eighty 3-port bridges (240 connections). Can support up to a maximum of 32 DS0s on a bridge, up to the 240 DS0 limit. Will support ADPCM compression and G.729 on IMACS. Requires 68300 Analog Bridging firmware (must be ordered separately). Requires 6.2.2 or 7.1.0 CPU firmware or above. 7.1.0 release requires purchase of PRM-880770 and PRM-893x cards, sold separately. Enhanced panel fasteners.

Selectable compression rates include 40, 32 or 24Kbps with the latter not supporting DTMF, FAX or modem tones (see data sheet for full specification). The 24Kbps option can transport SRU data up to 19.2Kbps. This model supports 1:1 or 1:2 redundancy. Maximum of 2 active 887170 ADPCM servers (plus 1 redundant) per IMACS. If CPU load is 5.x or 6.x.y, it can support 3 active ADPCM server cards. ADPCM coding to G.721/726 with transition signaling to ANSI T1.302 - 1989. CE marked. Requires v3.6.x or higher, 4.x.y, 5.x.y or 6.x.y CPU firmware and cross connect CPU (880160, 880260, 880360/61 or 880370).

The 881360 management channel concentrator (MCC) card is comprised of the 881160 with additional expansion card (not available separately). Card is characterized through addition of 63130 server firmware (must be ordered separately). This card allows the remote management of up to 80 IMACS systems via TCP/IP or SNMP. CE marked. Requires v5.3.4 or higher CPU firmware. Limited Availability. Replaced with the 883280 IPR*4 Server card running 2.x.y firmware.

Allows up to 100 IP management channels to be concentrated onto a single E117Ethernet link, providing the means to manage a large network of IMACS products from a single location using IP techniques. Provides IP connectivity to up to 100 remote IMACS units. Local connectivity to the MCC is provided through the on-board 10BaseT Ethernet connector. Latest release of MCC Firmware.
