The 880460 CPU supports 2 T1 or E1 WAN links in slot W1 with a redundant card (similarly configured) in slot W2. WAN ports in slot W1 may operate in drop and insert or terminate mode. The 880460 supports another 2 T1 or E1 WAN links in slot W3 with a redundant card (similarly configured) in slot W4. WAN ports in slot W3 can only operate in terminate mode and can only be used to support 820260, 821360, 821560 or 821570 HSU card ports and 824160, 824660 and 8249 OCU-DP ports. CPU Host firmware must be ordered separately. Can be used with system release up to and including v3.x.y. Requires appropriate interface card (892060, 892160 (MD announced), 892560, 892660 or 892760). This card is in Limited Availability status.

Four port DS0 - data port (DS0-DP) with DB-15F connectors. Provides 4 ports of DS0-DP or G.703 64 K. For G.703, clock can be selected to be co- or contra-directional. CE marked.

Two port high speed unit (HSU) for 56K, 64K and Nx56/54K data applications. Provides true V.35 interface on DB25F connectors. Connects to A, B, C and D buses. Based on 821260 capability, red book standard.

CPU card houses voice signaling and SNMP management firmware (included) and optional TR-08 firmware (60102) (must be ordered separately). Requires v7.x.y CPU firmware (ordered separately). Requires appropriate interface card (893270, 893370 or 893470). Enhanced panel fasteners. This card offers a replacement to the 880160, 880360, 880361 and 880370.

The 8000-CPU supports complex applications requiring more than 2 WAN ports and the ability to cross-connect DS0s between WANs. Has on-board NVRAM and clocking module. Supports up to 4 WAN cards for a total of 8 T1 or E1 WAN ports and has a built-in cross-connect module. 1:N WAN redundancy is supported (with relevant WAN card options). CPU card houses voice signaling and SNMP management firmware. Requires v7.5.0 CPU firmware or higher (ordered separately).

This host code must be ordered, in addition to 3.x.y CPU host version firmware, if SNMP and Telnet support is required for the management of local and remote IMACS units. Order in addition to CPU Firmware for all 3.x.7 releases. TCP/IP/SNMP included in 5.x.y 6.x.y and 7.x.7 CPU firmware.

Four port RJ45 G.SHDSL interface offering TDM transmission to remote loops. Used in conjunction with the 799x series of modems which support G.703 balanced or unbalanced loops, or DB25 EIA-530-A interface which supports X.21 RS-449 or V.35 interface.
